I am Gabriella, a Menopause and Sexual Wellness Coach, Yoga and Somatic Movement teacher. I am committed to empowering you to tune in to the innate wisdom of your body and take charge of your hormonal health. I passionately believe that when you do this you can experience greater joy, pleasure and meaningful connection with yourself and the world around you.

I totally get the fatigue, overwhelm and lack of support you feel when your hormones start to shift.
My own experience of moving into peri-menopause in my early forties totally caught me off guard. I never even heard this word mentioned 10 years ago. I was an ambitious career-driven woman in my 20s-30s. When I happily started a family at the age of 36, I applied the same drive and ambition to be the perfect mother, the perfect wife and an entrepreneur launching my yoga career and running my own studio. All this was at the expense of my health. I put myself last; not sleeping enough or nourishing myself properly.
By my early 40’s I was running on empty, ignoring the creeping anxiety, the heart palpitations, achy joints, low libido and forgetfulness. I spent about eight years in perimenopause residing in liminal space - that disorienting point between where I once was and where I was headed. Longing for a version of myself I once knew, grieving the loss of parts that formed my identity, unsure of what was next. This grief would at times show up as depression, rage, irritability and a sense of betrayal over my body no longer serving me in the same way.

I got to know myself better, focused on the things that really mattered and tuned into my heart’s deepest desire and its expression in the world.
Although I felt alone in my journey then, I had a sense of being held by the self-care practices cultivated through yoga, somatic movement, meditation and nutrition. These practices would initiate me in the unspoken wisdom inherited from a lineage of strong, compassionate and resilient women.
Looking back I realise that residing in the discomfort of this ‘in between space’ gifted me the opportunity to embark on deep inner work, growth and transformation. I got to know myself better, focused on the things that really mattered and tuned into my heart’s deepest desire and its expression in the world.

Emerging on the other side has been nothing less than expansive, empowering and life-affirming. The journey continues to unfold and I am grateful to surround myself with women who hold space for me to step through the doorway of my sovereignty.
If you are journeying into peri/menopause, please know you are not alone. The guidance and practices that I offer aim to take women on a journey of self-exploration and self-knowing. It may not always be comfortable but it is in those places of discomfort where our greatest learning and healing lies. We can get through this together.
