Menopause Wellness Coaching 

Now is the time to embrace this natural and life-affirming transition and to connect with the rich and multi-layered aspects of being female.

When you start to shift pre-existing attitudes and perceptions about your body, you are able to make healthy and informed decisions allowing you to be the best version of yourself, both physically and mentally. 

This is not your typical health coaching. Yes there are elements of nutrition and exercise, but this is embodied and intuitive, allowing you to tap into your body’s innate wisdom.

Imagine feeling good and comfortable in your own skin. Felling secure within your body and accessing your personal and creative power. Having the confidence to wear that swimsuit on a family beach holiday, feeling strong in your body and mind and inspired to say YES to to the life you want. This coaching program will give you that and so much more. This is not just about how you look on the outside, it’s also about looking within at your lived experience and wisdom.

This is for every midlife woman who has ever felt less than, like she can’t wear certain things. Anyone who avoids looking in the mirror or doesn’t recognise the person looking back at her when she does happen to glance at her reflection. This is for any perimenopausal or menopausal woman who feels betrayed by her body and hormones, who feels they are fighting a constant battle with their body that is sucking the joy out of life. The woman who feels guilt when they eat certain things, the woman who uses exercise as a punishment after food but doesn’t enjoy it. You deserve better. You deserve more.

This coaching program guides you through tried and tested practices in somatic movement, breathwork, yoga postures, nutrition and lifestyle changes to create a greater sense of connection and feeling in your physical and emotional body. 

When we begin working together to optimise your health the journey starts with YOU- your lifestyle, your community, your relationship with food, exercise and your perception of stress and wellbeing. I guide you to reconnect with your body to explore and shift existing narratives providing you with tools to bring greater awareness of your inherent wholeness.

Why wellness is important to me?

My wellness journey originated from my own experience of moving into perimenopause in my early forties. I never even heard of the word when it totally caught me off guard. I was a busy mother balancing work, life and felt I was running on empty, ignoring the creeping anxiety, the heart palpitations, achy joints, low libido and forgetfulness. It was such a confusing time. I felt that my body had betrayed me in some way. And so I got really curious and went on a deep dive journey of self-exploration learning everything I could about my body. From nutrition to yoga, breathwork, coaching and somatic practices. I have learned so much about myself in the last 15 years through self-awareness, compassion, self-love and appreciation for my body. The guidance and practices I offer aim to take women on a journey of self-exploration, trust and knowing. It may not always be comfortable but it is in those places of discomfort where our greatest learning and healing lies. We do get to the other side wiser, stronger and more empowered.

 

As women, we experience hormonal shifts menopause that take us into unfamiliar territory of fluctuating emotions and physical sensations. We have been conditioned to believe that our bodies are no longer working, that we are broken or need to be fixed. A mindset shift is needed to help us tap into our body’s innate wisdom and mitigate these symptoms.

Irregular periods, mood shifts, out of nowhere anxiety and a runaway libido. Could this be perimenopause? Perimenopause is the period leading up to menopause and can start as early as your late 30s and last 5-10 years. Are you prepared for the ride ahead and to be your own best advocate?
